The Plantronics APC-42 Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) Adapter for Cisco 38350-12 is the replacement for the APC-41. The APC-41 is now discontinued and is no longer available. The APC-41 Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) Adapter 38350-11 for remote desk phone call control (answer/end). This cable eliminates the need for a HL10 Handset Lifter.

The APC-41 EHS cable replaces the APC-40 cable and features compatibility with the Plantronics On-line Indicator accessory. The APC-41 includes support for the Online Indicator part # 65116-02 & part # 80287-01 (firmware v2.7 or higher).

The APC-41 is for use on the Plantronics Savi® 700 (including Savi Office models) and CS500™ Series products.

** Attention Cisco Expansion Module Users **

When using the Cisco Unified IP Phone Expansion Module the use of cable adapter, Plantronics Adapter 85638-01 is required.

Plantronics Adapter 85638-01 replaced 40287-05 in 2012.

Plug the expansion module into the telephone AUX port. Plug the APC-4/APC-40/APC-41 into the expansion module.

Use a Part Number 85638-01 (formerly 40287-05) adapter to extend the APC-4/APC-40/APC-41 audio input to reach the headset jack on the phone.
