FAQ Poly/HP Discontinue All 911 Dispatch Headsets and Amps

Q) Why is HP now closing the Poly Aviation and Specials headset product line?
A) (Per HP) HP can no longer effectively serve our customers in this business due to some critical components that are no longer available from our suppliers and due to the impact of limited manufacturing resources.
Q) What will happen to any orders that are on backlog?
A) (Per HP) HP will do their best to build and ship all previously ordered product in our backlog that can be assembled and shipped before September 30, 2025. In cases where components and materials cannot be procured to fulfil a specific SKU, HP will inform any customers (via our partners) of any orders that cannot be fulfilled.
Q) Will HP honor any valid warranty claims on these products after the end of sale?
A) (Per HP) Where possible HP will replace any units claimed under warranty, if for whatever reason this is not possible a refund will be offered. The warranty period of these products is 1 year.
Q) Is it possible for customers to place a last time purchase?
A) (Per HP) HP is reviewing the possibility of a last time purchase on the top SKUs. Any orders/request must be received before the 27th June 2025 for these SKUs. HP reserves the right to cancel any orders it cannot fulfil. For those products that HP can build for a last time purchase, customers are encouraged to buy extra units for self-sparing replacements should the need arrive before finding an alternative solution.
Q) Will HP make available any drawings or Intellectual Property to allow customers to source these items elsewhere?
A) (per HP) No. HP will not make available any drawings or Intellectual Property.
Q) Can HP recommend any alternatives to the impacted products?
A) (Per HP) HP cannot make any alternative recommendations due to the unique nature of these products.
Q) Can HP recommend another supplier that could provide alternatives?
A) (Per HP) Several alternative suppliers in various markets offer a range of PTT solutions that may be suitable replacements, but HP will not provide specific supplier recommendations.
